the town where i was born

bečej is the town where i was born on tuesday, 3 august 1971.
i lived there for 24 years.

in 1991 i left to belgrade to study architecture.
in 1997 i came back again after my studies to leave for belgrade again in 2001.

2010 series of photos of the house where i was born with marcel duchamp's étant donnés in mind.

bečej | small town horror was a 2006 postcard art project where i tried to promote bečej as a stereotypical horror town from the movies.
